Ladies and gentlemen, Warren Achievement Center finalized the purchase of VFW Post 2301, located at 830 North G Street in Monmouth.
This location will become the new Community Day Services Program for Warren Achievement Center. This will involve remodeling and an addition, and will require the support of our community.
Warren Achievement Center would like to express our tremendous gratitude to VFW Post 2301, and their members, as they have provided a most wonderful opportunity for Warren Achievement Center to continue to be strong for decades to come.
VFW Post 2301 will be able to use the proceeds of the sale to further their mission at a future location.

Warren Achievement Center in Monmouth officially acquired VFW Post 2301, also in Monmouth, on Wednesday, July 26th. Warren Achievement Center was selected following a sealed bid process this past December, which included other bids from organizations in the area.
Warren Achievement Center serves adults living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The facility will be used to replace their aging Community Day Services program located on South Main Street. This will involve remodeling, including an addition.
Rick Barnhill, President / CEO stated, “Warren Achievement Center would like to express our tremendous gratitude to VFW Post 2301 and their members. We now have a facility which will allow us to continue to serve our community for decades to come.”
Warren Achievement Center has been quietly raising funds to put toward a replacement of their current Community Day Services facility, and have been working with an architectural firm regarding the future. The fundraising will continue as the project marches forward, as community support is very important.
Barnhill again, “Over the last several years, Warren Achievement Center has been working to find the right plan to secure our mission for the next 50 years, and we believe we have found the best option. It is of vital importance that we provide the best life possible for those we serve, and we plan on continuing that success.”
Warren Achievement Center, which will soon be celebrating their 62nd anniversary. Over the years, they have grown to have over 130 employees, 8 residential locations, a sheltered workshop, a corporate office, a recreation center, and the Community Day Services facility – all located in Monmouth.
