Meeting Achievers’ Needs

Programs for Client's Needs

Warren Achievement Center provides many programs and services to meet the individual needs of each of our clients.

Training & Support

Community Day Services

Warren Achievement Center’s Community Day Services program provides developmental training to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We are large enough to offer a variety of services, but small enough to provide personized attention to those we serve.  We are able to tailor programming to each person’s individual needs.

Warren Achievement Center offers training and support that are designed to enhance their independence and foster integration in the community.  We offer:

Residential Services

Residential services are designed to enable adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enjoy the independence of having a home of their own near family and friends.  Individuals, whose disabilities limit their independence, may share a home with others who need similar support to ensure their well-being twenty-four hours a day.  Staff training is designed to ensure safety and promote independence while respecting residents’ rights in their home.

Each home is integrated into its neighborhood and household members are assisted in the assimilation with friends and neighbors in the community.  House exteriors and yards are well-maintained, allowing them to blend well into their surroundings.  Furnishings are comfortable, functional, and in good taste.  Household members are encouraged to share their preferences in home decor and to bring their personal belongings.

Meals are planned to consider what each person likes to eat, as well as the dietary limitations or restrictions of each person.  Proper nutrition is also taken quite seriously. Household members assist with grocery shopping, meal planning and preparation, and other regular household activities.

Individuals are assisted in the development of leisure time activities which reflect their personal preference or interests.  Each individual has a plan of care designed to assist them in achieving their maximum individual potential.

There are several residential services available for your loved one:

  • Community Integrated Living Arrangements (CILA) are group home settings with eight or fewer residents
  • Intermittent CILA apartments with 15 or less hours of supervision per week
  • Supervised apartments
  • Home-Based Services (HBS) program, which is designed to enable participants to remain in their family home or their own, while receiving services that support them to achieve their personal outcomes
  • Respite accommodations
  • Group respite accommodations

Sheltered Workshop

Warren Achievement Center operates a workshop/sheltered workshop. A sheltered workshop is a private non-profit, state, or local government institution that provides employment opportunities for individuals who are developmentally, physically, or mentally impaired, to prepare for gainful work in the general economy.

Those we serve are able to learn skills and earn a wage, as they contribute to the success of our community.

We have a warehouse of 11,000 square feet, and the actual workshop is several thousand square feet.

Dedicated employees and machinery are the key to our success. We use:

  • CNC Computerized Router
  • Forklift
  • Panel Saw
  • Shear Machine
  • Shrink Wrap
  • A loading dock

Warren Achievement Center does hundreds of thousands of dollars of work for various companies. Our quality is outstanding and our reliability is respected. We have done assembly work, woodworking, packaging, to name a few types of contracts.

Our largest contract is with Blick Art Supplies. We produce sketch boards, art horses, leno blocks, and more.

What can we do for you?
